5 things never to tell your girlfriend during an argument

Relationships are often beautiful and peaceful but every now and then, an argument or two will crop up. This is usually a perfect tests for couples to see if they are stronger than the argument or the argument will defeat them.

2. Are you mad/crazy/out of your senses?


Your girlfriend might be shouting at you and saying harsh words but you should not do the same. Two wrongs do not make a right. If you see she is riled up, then wait until she is calm before you express that what she said earlier hurt your feelings. Do not shout back or challenge her verbally because neither of you will be communicating, you will only be fueling the argument.

3. So…are we going to have make-up sex after?



Unless you and your girlfriend know each other well and this is a routine with you, please do not ask it during a fight. Fighting is not a pre-requisite to sex. While make-up sex can be exciting, if your girl was genuinely angry with you, asking this question will dig you deeper into a sexless hole. 4. Saying nothing at all

 
While some men feel this is the best strategy and it will further avoid problems, it can infuriate your girlfriend. This is similar to shut up at this point. You may think apologizing before she finishes giving you your life story is the best way to calm her down or end her raking but it is not. 3. He isolates you from your friends and family: If he is trying to isolate you from your loved ones, you should be careful. Any man who tries to isolate you from the people who truly love and care about you should not be trusted. It’s either he knows that your friends and family will try to make you see good reasons why you should not be with him or point out those dangerous flaws of his and he doesn’t want that. 4. Impossibly high standards and unrealistic expectations: Some boyfriends can be so delusional. They have the image of what they want their partner to be in their head and they expect you to be that way. They try to change you into something you’re not. 5. Extreme possessive, obsessive behavior: When obsession is confused for love, relationships can become dangerous. At the beginning of the relationships, it’s natural for you to be the sole focus of your partner’s thoughts. You want to spend time together and are always thinking of each other when you’re not. It’s okay for him to be interested in your day-to-day activities but when it seems a little much, it may be cause for concern. If he becomes over-committed to knowing your whereabouts, who were you with, what time you went out, makes you feel guilty about going out, checks up on you excessively, he may be exhibiting overly-possessive behaviors and you may be putting yourself in a dangerous situation.

6. Disrespect: Be with someone who shows you that necessary degree of respect. If you realize that your boyfriend doesn’t respect you at all, it’s time to step back and ask yourself whether or not you should remain in a relationship where you’re not shown any respect. Relationships aren’t always easy, and you and your partner won’t always get along but, should however, always respect each other.

7. He can never apologize: If you’re boyfriend never apologizes when he’s wrong, you need to be concerned. This may not seem like a big deal but goes to show that he thinks he’s superior in the relationship. If you’re wrong, you should be able to say you’re sorry, what’s the big deal. Sometimes, it’s hard to admit our mistakes and say sorry. But, a man who never apologizes or sees any reason why he should apologize to a woman should be ‘feared’.

Happy Solomon Lange, who felt his wife, should not go through this pregnancy stage alone during the baby shower decided to stuck his tummy with loads of clothes pretending to be pregnant and two of his friends also rocked their baby bump with him.

Tragic: Nine feared dead, others injured in multiple Lagos/Ibadan expressway crash

– Four injured women were rushed to the hospital while the remaining two found dead female passengers were taken mortuary

– Another casualties included four males and two females and a child on the same road

Two women have lost their lives and four sustained severe injuries on Saturday at Wasimi Village on the old Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

On Sunday at Fidiwo, Ogun state another road mishap have left seven people died on the same Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The Saturday accident that occurred in the morning involved a Nissan saloon car and an IVECO truck was attributed to over speeding of the truck driver.

Eyewitnesses relayed that the woman driving the car lost control when the driver of the granite-laden truck coming behind hooted the vehicle’s horn to pave the way for its passage on the double-carriage road.

He added that the truck driver, while trying to avoid the car, crashed into the median and fell on the motor, emptying its content on the highway and on the motorist.

The victims’ car was said to have been covered by the granite and those who were alive were seen waving through the granite.

It was learnt that six female occupants of the car were said to have been pulled out.

The four injured women were rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, while the two female passengers were taken to the Ifo General Hospital mortuary.


The other road users, Adekunbi and Ali, who were on their way to Abeokuta, immediately contacted the men of the Ogun state traffic compliance and enforcement agency and Federal Road Safety Corps.

The Punch reports that the entourage of the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Suraj Adekunbi, and the newly promoted Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2, Abdulmajid Ali, went to rescue the victims.

Also involved in the rescue operation was a former chairman of the Abeokuta North LGA, Abeeb Ajayi. Both the state Sector Commander of the FRSC, Adegoke Adetunji, and the Public Relations Officer of TRACE, Babatunde Akinbiyi, blamed the truck driver for speeding.

The FRSC boss said, “I don’t want to link the incident to the weather, but this is a rainy season and the road is always wet; the tyres will not have good grip on the road like when the road is dry.

“My advice to motorists is to obey the speed limit. If they know the weather is not conducive, they shouldn’t be in a hurry; they should obey the speed limit and have consideration for other road users. They should also desist from using fairly-used tyres.”

Also, the Sunday auto crash claimed seven persons while nine others were injured at Fidiwo area on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
According to an eyewitness, Adetunji the accident occurred at 12 noon. He said the casualties were four males, two females and a child.
He explained that the crash involved a Mazda 18-seater passenger bus and a truck.
 “The accident happened at a section where there was a diversion of traffic to a single lane due to ongoing construction work on the road,” he added.
The Ogunmakin Unit Commander, FRSC, Mr. David Ogunjana, has attributed the to wrongful overtaking. He noted that the driver of the Mazda bus heading for Ibadan overtook wrongfully and the bus ran into the oncoming truck.

 CNN reports that the picture was captured by a passing motorist at the scene of a fatal road accident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle in Kentucky, USA on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.

The picture shows the person’s spirit leaving his body just as an ambulance was working at the scene of the incident another passing motorist, Saul Vazquez, informed that the picture was taken by his dad as he passed by the scene of the accident on Tuesday.

“I took this picture just few minutes ago from the cab of my truck. It was an accident between Campton and Stanton on the service road just off of the mountain parkway.

“When an accident happened, someone took a photo and realized a spirit was moving upward from the dead body.

Boko Haram suicide bomber caught with hidden explosives

– Yusuf Tasiu, the suspected suicide bomber, was arrested by troops who were on ground patrol with officials of the CJTF 

– He is currently being investigated by the Nigerian Army after he was dispossessed of the explosives by a special bomb expert 

– SK Usman, a spokesperson of the Nigerian Army, also disclosed that troops operating in Damboa recovered arms, ammunition and uniforms in an operation

Troops of 101 battalion, 7 division garrison, who were on foot patrol along with some members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), on Sunday, July 17 intercepted a suspected male suicide bomber at Sabon Gari, Jidari, Borno state.

This success was achieved hours after members of the CJTF alongside Nigerian troops weathered the storm to conquer Boko Haram insurgents in Sambisa forest, in the state.

Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, the acting director of Army public relations, disclosed that the suspect, who gave his name as Yusuf Tasiu, concealed primed improvised explosive devices in a blue stabilizer casing.

He was dispossessed of the explosives while a Nigeria police explosive ordnance devices expert safely detonated it.

Usman said the suicide bomber is currently being interrogated. 

He also revealed that a vigilante group at Njidari village, south-east of Damboa, conducted clearance operations against suspected Boko Haram terrorists hideout close to Ngwalimeri village, east of Bale in Borno state.

He said the vigilante group destroyed the camp and recovered one AK-47 rifle with registration number 565203224 with locally fabricated five rounds of 7.62mm (special) ammunition and a pair of military uniform.

The leader of the vigilante group, he said, handed over same to the headquarters of 25 task force brigade in Damboa.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), in Enugu state, Mr Ebere Amaraizu on Sunday, July 17, rescued two suspected homosexuals 32-year-old Orji Odinaka and 22-year-old Ejineme Nonso, from angry mob who wanted to set them ablaze.

They disclosed that, the incident took place in the Coal Camp area of Enugu on Saturday, July 16. The PPRO, explained that Odinaka, a commercial driver in Enugu, was accosted by the mob after he attempted to rape one Sunday, a wheelbarrow pusher, who was in the same room with him.

Amariazu said: “The boy raised the alarm which attracted people in the area. Nonso, who was alleged to be Odinaka’s accomplice in the gay practice, was also accosted by the mob after another boy, Chimezie who revealed that he had been threatening him for refusing to succumb to his homosexual advances.”

Amaraizu said the mob had already stripped Odinaka and Nonso naked, and was about setting them ablaze when policemen from the Enugu central police station arrived at the scene. However, the two men were arrested immediately taken into custody.

One of the suspects, Odinaka disclosed to the police that he was married, but his wife left him because of his homosexual activities. He added that, he had visited several men of God for prayers in an unsuccessful bid to drop the homosexual habit.

Chelsea have announced the signing of Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante on a five-year deal.

33-year old girl accidentally kills her grandmother (photos)

In Florida, a 33-year old young lady, Jessica Wright accidentally shot her grandmother Carolyn Wright on Friday, July 15. A teen who lives at the Town ‘n’ Country house where four generations of the family resided disclosed that Jessica came home with the gun.

She took the bullets out of the weapon and thought she had emptied out all the ammo, officials in the sheriff’s office said. Yet the gun still had one round in the chamber, and the younger Wright accidentally fired it and hit her mother in the upper body. An emergency crew who rushed to the Pinehurst Circle home just after midnight Friday pronounced Carolyn Wright dead.

Investigators said one of the teens living in the home panicked after the shooting and threw the gun into a storm drain down the street. Deputies later recovered the weapon. They are now working on how the teen found the gun in the first place.

This boy with no arms and legs does not give up

When you take a look at this 11-year-old boy, you would be amazed. For one, he looks so much as Nick Vujicic and secondly, he does not give up!

He was born in Indonesia, at the little village Penawangan, West Java. His name is Tiyo Satrio. This boy is full of life and courage. He refused to give up over what he does not have and uses what he’s got!

 

Even though there are no fingers or hands to hold the pen, he learned to write well handling the pen with his mouth. The mother carrying the baby had no clue there was something wrong with him. Even after the birth they did not show the boy to her right away and told her, he was fine.
 

 

Tioy has 4 older siblings. They already moved out of the parents’ house. So, the newborn baby has become a full-time job for his mom and dad. The boy does his best to be independent and learn how to do things on his own. He manages to play a PC game and unwraps the sweets using his teeth. Still, he needs a lot of assistance in getting around, dressing up, etc. The boy is smart. Here is what his teacher says: “Now he is second grade, and he can do fourth-grade mathematics problems, such as multiplication and division.”

Hopefully, his story will end well as that of the famous preacher Nick Vujicic. Tioy is a brave boy!

How father missed son's one-day Governor meeting with Ambode

Winner of the 2016 Spelling Bee Competition, Master Olaseinde Olufemi Joshua on Friday narrated how his father, Mr. Olaseinde missed the meeting with Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode and members of the State Executive Council.

Joshua, a student of Shasha Community Senior High School in Alimosho area of Lagos, who spoke at the Lagos House in Ikeja while being hosted as the 16th One-day Governor of the State, said his father would have loved to be present at the event but was unable to attend due to some health challenges.

Besides, Joshua described Governor, Ambode as the most labour-friendly Governor in Nigeria. XHe said despite the dwindling allocation from the Federal Government, Governor Ambode has remained committed to the prompt payment of workers salary.
He said:

"While over 29 states of the federation cannot afford to pay their workers, I really commend the Governor's hard work and determination to take Lagos State to the highest level." Joshua added that so far, Governor Ambode had lived up to the true meaning of the acronym of his name which he described as "AMBODE - Ambassadors of Meritorious, Brilliant, Organised and Dedicated Entity."

Responding, Governor Ambode ordered that Joshua's father be treated at the medical facilities of the State Government.

A deeply touched Governor Ambode said:

"It is unfortunate that his father could not make it for this very special occasion in the life of his child but will be attended to in the health facilities of the State Government."

Besides, Joshua was given a laptop, printer and generating set courtesy of the Governor's Office while other winners of the competition were given tab each.

Alton Sterling pinned to the ground and shot dead

Alton Sterling was shot dead at point blank range after officers pinned him down amid claims he had a gun.
Shocking mobile phone showed footage showing two officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, wrestling Mr Sterling from behind and shoving his face into the concrete on Tuesday.


They attended the scene at 12.35am (6.35am BST) on Tuesday after an anonymous caller claimed a man was threatening someone with a gun outside a shop.
The two officers are seen pinning Mr Sterling down, before one suddenly shouts: "He's got a gun."
